Getting Back into the swing of things

Hello you,

Thought I'd pop by to say hello and check how you're doing. It's been a really weird year, hasn't it? I don't blame you if you've decided to take a step back from a lot of content and news being given to us. It can be so draining especially if what we read, hear or see runs along the lines of negative vibes but really in truly, sometimes its good to be informed, made aware and know someone across the world isn't having it easy.
Honestly, it really does cut you in half but that's when balance comes into play and you know exactly how to find your balance, just believe in it. I'm really liking the quote lately, fake it till you make it, and I'm sure this would work wonders if you think about it, but that's just my thinking.

You see, it's interesting because, with blogging, I find it's a place you can be expressive of who you are and what you love. A passion for writers to share their stories in hope that someone else can relate and crave more. Or another example creating videos for YouTube on the subjects you want to get people talking about in the comment section. Whatever it is, it's something that makes you happy, gets you busy and a way of taking your mind off your everyday activities (the ones that pay the bills too).

Now I know you can admit to falling through with a passion you once had or a hobby you did, as I am not afraid to admit, I have done so myself. One of which is exactly this, writing and putting out content on my blog. After going through university and then graduating in Broadcast Journalism, I've been so fixated on fulfilling this degree that I lost sight of my roots. The creative me surely wasn't going to be here anymore, and now, I think is the time to get back into the swing of it.

I'm sure many of us have been applying to jobs recently, trying to get bills paid and literally digging out of our now pennies in our savings. But honestly its been hard hasn't it. You could be applying to 100 jobs but only one job or if lucky at most 3 respond back with a potential interview. Yes, I said it 'a potential' interview because sometimes, the communication doesn't go further from that.

No this isn't to vent out about jobs, it's about getting back to what you enjoy doing and as they say, bekezela - patience something will come by just keep yourself busy, whether it's learning a new skill with some online free courses (even some are accredited), picking out a new hobby or one you did 3 or four years ago.

Who knows the hobby might even turn to future business but you just got to start doing that hobby.

I for one, want to get back into blogging again, creating YouTube videos and even getting more creative with sewing. I've seen myself being overtaken by so many creatives now, and now is my time to also put my foot in the game. So here's my time to shine again.

What will you be doing?

Take it easy and know you are amazing always.

Why not read 'Begin a New Path' if you're still figuring it all out.

P.S. Do let me know if there is anything you want to see me write about, or continue writing on especially if you were a regular reader.

~Stacey ~
